Welding Technology Day, Celje 2026

Dear colleague,

In April 2026, the International Industrial Fair (MIS 2026) will be held in Celje, which, with its renewed concept, is establishing itself as the central platform for meeting experts, innovators, technical leaders and decision-makers who are shaping the future of industrial development in the region.

Within this framework, a professional event will be held under the slogan “The Future of Welding and Cutting“, intended to present the latest trends, technologies and solutions in the field of welding, cutting and related processes. Within its framework, the scientific and professional conference “Welding Technology Day” will be traditionally organized on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, starting at 9:30. The eight most interesting contributions will be presented at the event in the morning between 9:30 and 12:00, while the rest will be presented in the poster section. All articles will be reviewed and published in the proceedings.

The national championship – the welders’ competition will also take place in parallel, and the day will end with an awards ceremony and social event.

We invite you, as a reputable expert or company, to actively participate and present your knowledge, good practices or innovative solutions. We are particularly looking for contributions from the following areas: advanced materials and weldability, intelligent joining technologies, automation and robotization, the use of artificial intelligence in joining and cutting, smart manufacturing systems, digital twins, sustainable approaches, energy efficiency and Industry 4.0 and 5.0 solutions.

If you are interested, please send us a proposal for the title of the contribution and a short summary (up to 500 characters). After confirmation, you will receive guidelines and a template for preparing an article, which must be submitted no later than March 5, 2026.
